Gfa re-structure: Have your input to the future of NGA
What is the Gfa re-structure
A restructure of the Gfa programme is where the current programme will be reviewed and re-designed to become a more effective and successful programme to suit the current members, workforce and also our future members.
Aspects that can be influenced within the re-structure are:
- Session content
- Coaching methods
- Communications
- Finances
- Services
- Pathways and gymnast development
Why is a re-structure needed?
Recently there has been an analysis of the Academy's approach to the running of the Gfa discipline which has highlighted a number of areas that we would like to make improvements upon, over the coming weeks and months. This analysis was conducted by the new Head of Gfa (Jack Duggan).
To ensure the academy is moving in the right direction to suit all members and future members; NGA would like to invite you to have your input into the development of the Academy. This would therefore, fill us with confidence that we are providing a suitable service to our community and our sport.
When will the re-structure happen?
We are aiming to launch our new exciting programme as of 2nd January 2017.
Key milestones of this project will be aimed at:
- Sept to early Oct – consultation with members, workforce and future members
- Mid Oct – programme design
- End Oct – reveal of new programme to members, workforce and future members
- Early Nov – programme finalisation/sign off from NGA’s Board of Directors and Academy Performance Director
- Mid Nov to early Dec – implement new programme with current members
- Mid Dec to Christmas – implement new programme with new members
- 2nd January – launch new programme
How do I have my input?
