Parking
There is a large car park, but it can get extremely busy, particularly during school hours and on Saturdays. Please allow enough time to park and walk up to the gym. There is parking available on surrounding streets too - please respect that it is a residental area though, and please don't block access on Boundary Road. Please do not park in the NCT bus layby or double park on the site access loop road.
Arriving By Bus
We are on Nottingham City Transport (NCT) bus routes and there is a bus stop at the Rushcliffe School site. Please contact NCT for up to date route and timetable information.
Our GymSchool / TeenMania Weekly Members Entrance & Exit (also PreSchool Saturday Mornings)
ARRIVING FOR YOUR SESSION
From the car park walk up to the school reception. Go through the green pedestrian gate, turn left and walk up the drive. Bear right at the top of the school drive and walk up to slope towards the gym, past the new access road and continue to the top of the drive. Turn immediate left and go through the green gate. Walk around the perimeter of the gym along the new tarmac path. The GFA entrance is the first door on your right.
GymSchool Foundation & Year 1 Weekday classes (Monday To Friday)
As you are aware, we share a site with Rushcliffe Spencer Academy and work with the school to maintain the safety and well-being of all site users.
While there may still be school pupils on site / after-school activities running, we are required to ensure that the school can recognise our members / parents.
All gymnasts arriving for our Foundation & Year 1 classes on weekdays (Monday to Friday) are issued with a lanyard / pass which shows that you are part of Notts Gymnastics Academy. This must be worn by the parent while on site. If the lanyard / pass isn't visible, access through the green pedestrian gate will be denied.
The lanyard / pass will be issued when attending your first class. To access the gym for the first session, please use our dedicated path which does not go through the main school site. There are directions and a video showing the route below.
If you lose or forget your lanyard / pass, you will also need to use this route. Please ask for a replacement if necessary.
COLLECTION AT THE END OF THE SESSION
To help avoid congestion at the end of classes, collection is from the door at the opposite end of the corridor from the GFA entrance.
When you walk up the drive, at the top, when you turn left, rather than going through the green gate, carry on round the corner and the exit door is immediately on your left.
Squad Members (GFA Advanced, GFA Competitive, MAG, WAG) / Adults / Gym Main Entrance
Go through the green pedestrian gate, turn left and walk up the drive.Bear right at the top of the school drive, up the sloping drive past the grassed area and up the new access drive on the left. You will see our main entrance on the right.
Collection / exit at the end of sessions is from the same place you registered,
Please note that the arrangements will be different during school hours. If this applies, you will receive separate instructions.
Our PreSchool Members (Monday / Thursday / Friday) / Weekly Home Education Sessions / During School Hours
It is likely that you will need to park on the surrounding streets.
We now have a path path that allows unrestricted access to NGA, and avoids the route through the school.site.
Just before the construction cabin at the entrance to the carpark, there is a path that leads you around the edge of the school site.
Please allow around 10-15 minutes to park and walk to the gym.
Collection at the end of sessions is from the same place you registered,

To access the GymSchool entrance via this route, there are steps on the right of the main entrance. Then walk along the path. To avoid the steps, walk down the access road and turn left at the bottom to join the usual route..
Our PreSchool Members (Saturday Mornings)
You do not need to use the perimeter path as access through the school site is unrestricted at weekends. Follow the same route as for GymSchool classes (see above). You will enter the building through the GymSchool entrance and leave via the GymSchool exit door.
During Sessions
Once you have registered your child with the coach, you can either;
- Wait in our cafe where you can get a drink / snack. There is CCTV so that you can observe the sessions running in the gym. There are also plugs and USB connections so that you can plug in a laptop or phone. The cafe is on the top floor of the main gym building (via the main entrance).
- Or you prefer, you are free to leave the site.
