Independent Parent Welfare Officer

I am mum to two boys, Ronnie and Sonny, who both love doing sport - Sonny is aikido and football mad and Ronnie loves aikido, swimming and gymnastics! 

Having just left a twenty year career in marketing and communications I am now focusing my time on family and following a passion to increase equality and inclusion in education and sport. I am a trustee at Loughborough Students Union, an English tutor for Action Tutoring and now delighted to be a welfare officer for Notts Gymnastics Academy. 

I am in the gym on a weekly basis with Ronnie and available for any welfare concerns that NGA gymnasts and parents may have through the Welfare email address.

We have a number of coaches who are trained welfare officers and are available to help and listen to your concerns.  You can speak to them at the gym or email them with your concerns.

We are always keen to have more Welfare Officer's on board for the benefit of all our members.  A Welfare Officer is a hugely valuable and necessary role in the Academy and with our ever-growing membership we do welcome more qualified people who are able to provide support around safeguarding and welfare.
