Notts Gymnastics Academy (NGA) is one of the country’s most successful gymnastics clubs. We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to contribute to and complement our high performing team.

It is an exciting time for NGA as we embark on a significant facility development project – to revitalise our entrance, create a new café and viewing area, expand our office space and most importantly double the size of our permanent gymnastics space.

We need an enthusiastic and motivated person to be responsible for the development of our Early Years & SEN opportunities within the broader Gymnastics for All (GFA) & Pre-school programmes as follows:

• Collaborate with and support the work of the GFA leadership Team to integrate high quality Early Years & SEN initiatives within the broader GFA programme.

• Ensure all Early Years and SEN sessions are planned and delivered through innovative & engaging coaching, to a high standard. • Explore opportunities to grow & diversify the GFA programme in the Early Years, SEN & wider disability areas.

• Contribute to the design and development of the Early Years and SEN spaces and explore funding opportunities to support the enhancement of these spaces & our offerings.

The successful candidate will be a proven gymnastics coach, with specialist knowledge in the Early Years & SEN fields, ideally with an understanding and experience of working within a child-based sporting environment. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of the Early Years & SEN programmes, supporting and mentoring team members and seeking out opportunities to grow and develop the programmes. The role-holder will also be responsible for the organisation, administration and operational management of the programmes.

You will need to be organised, efficient & have a passion for excellence. You will be able to work on your own initiative but also as part of a team. Some flexibility in your approach to work will be required, with a commitment to some evening and weekend working, to support the programme, Academy events & late meetings.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our three core values, Be our Best, Do the Right Thing and Happy Souls are incorporated into your daily work. A condition of employment is to hold British Gymnastics Membership, current safeguarding, and DBS certificates.

In return we can offer you:

• an Academy that is committed to helping all its staff and members to reach their full potential
• a strong team ethos • support from an ambitious, engaged, and dedicated Management Committee
• the opportunity to make a positive contribution to young people through our sport

The post is an ideal opportunity for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our successful Academy and further your career prospects within a professional sports club.
