Boys Experience Sessions

We run fun and exciting session for boys who would like to try out the mens apparatus in our fully equipped gym.

Boys need to be aged 5 to 9 years old to be eligible to take part.

No gymnastics experience is needed and the session is open to both NGA members and non-members. Everyone is welcome.

There are limited places available, so book now to avoid disappointment!

Saturday Stay & Play

Join us for a Stay-and-Stay session, suitable for children 10 years and under on Saturday 27th September from 4.40pm-5.40pm. 

Parent supervised 'free-play' sessions (coaches are there to advise and oversee the session, but it is not coached).

If you need

Adult Gymnastics Sessions

We run open adult sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays 8.15pm-10.15pm.

The sessions cost £12.25 and are suitable for all ability levels.   There is no need to pre-book, card payments will be taken on the door.  Please arrive for registration from 8:10pm.  There will be no admittance after 9.15pm.  

British Gymnastics membership is needed (for insurance purposes) after you have attended two sessions. Your coach can give you details.

Home Education Weekly Sessions

Join us for our weekly Home Education Gymnastics sessions

We run weekly term-time sessions for Home Educated children.

These sessions run on Tuesdays from 11.00am to 12.00pm at our gym on the Rushcliffe School (Rushcliffe Spencer Academy) site on Boundary Road in West Bridgford).

The fee for the session is £8.50 for each child.

They are suitable for anyone who is of school age (born before 1st September 2021 and up to age 17).

Parents and siblings will not join in the class, but we now have a lovely new cafe / social space where you can wait.

The classes will be active and fun, structured, hour-long weekly sessions led by our fully qualified coach.

Gymnastics supports the PE National Curriculum by teaching fundamental movement skills such as running and jumping, as well as developing balance, agility, coordination, flexibility, strength, and technique. Gymnasts also learn to evaluate their performance and increase self-confidence.

Sunday PreSchool Stay-and-Play sessions

Running most weeks, our regular PreSchool Stay-and-Play session, suitable for children 5 years and under. 

Parent supervised 'free-play' sessions (coaches are there to advise and oversee the session, but it is not coached).

Limited spaces are available for each week and they need to be booked in advance for the upcoming session. 

Please note that no session will run on:

This is due to competitions running at the gym.

Holiday Activities

Bookings are now open for our October half-term holiday activities. You don't have to be an NGA member to join in; non-members are welcome too! 

Activity Camps - for children aged 4* to 9. join us for a morning of fabulous gymnastics fun and games!

Handstands & Cartwheels Workshops - for children aged 4* to 8. This popular session works on these fundamental gymnastics skills.

*Children have to be of statutory school age to join in these activities, born by 31st August 2021. Children born after this date are too young to join in this activity. 

Flicks & Tricks workshops - for children aged 8 to 11 who wish to improve their tumbling skills. This session is not suitable for gymnasts who are beginners in tumbling. Attainment of a round-off is needed as a minimum skill level to join in.

Stay & Play sessions - as well as our regular Sunday sessions, we run sessions in the holidays too and older children are welcome to join in. Sessions available for  age 5 and under and aged 10 and under. Booking is recommended to guarantee your place. You can pay by card on the day (subject to capacity).

Bookings for all sessions are now via our new system, CoursePro, with payment via debit / credit card. 

Please carefully check above for any eligibility criteria before you book.  Cancellations due to unsuitable sessions being booked will be subject to an administration fee.

Please refer to the CLASS NAME for the date of the session. There is currently an issue with booking on the same day as the session so the start date advertised will be as a weekly class with an end date of the day after the session. The session will run on the date in the class heading. Apologies for any confusion.

 Cancellations / Refunds

We realise that plans may change and will do our best to help, but we do have some terms and conditions:

• More than 7 days before the day of the activity: A full refund can be requested minus a £5.00 administration fee, or credit given towards an alternative bookable activity (subject to availability / with time limit).
• Between 7 days and up to 48 hours before the day of the activity: A credit can given towards an alternative bookable activity (subject to availability / with time limit).. No refund will be due.
• Less Than 48 hours before the day of the activity, if you are too late to join in or miss the session, no credit or refund is due.
