Ellie Downie wins Rushcliffe Junior Sportsperson of the Year
Ellie Downie is on a roll. She has scooped yet another award for her sporting prowess, picking up the award for 'Junior Sportsperson of the Year' at the Rushcliffe Borough Council Sports Awards last night. Notts have a history of winning at this event, Niamh Rippin picking up the same award last year. Well done Ellie.
Ellie, having just returned from an international in France barely has time to catch her breath before jetting off to Brazil on Monday 25th November to compete internationally again at the World School Games. This competition is for gymnasts age between 13 & 18 years and she will be travelling with team mates Claudia Fragapane, Georgina Hockenhull, Charlie Fellows and Rhiannon Jones.
