C1 Girls and Boys Compete Advance Levels at GFA Regional Floor and Vault
Last week the C1 competitive groups competed at the Primary levels Floor and Vault championship. This week was the turn of the Advanced level gymnasts to compete with 9 other clubs from the region. The morning competition was time for the C1 girls to shine.
Despite the temperatures soaring the girls performed their floor routines beautifully and powered through their vaults with determination. There were so many individual achievements during the morning. One such achievement was Zara Brittain nailing her handspring to 1 in her floor routine, which she had been struggling with during training – perfect timing! The final results were fantastic with Millie Green taking overall bronze in the 11yrs group. Jessica Pollard became the Floor and Vault Regional Champion taking gold in the 10yrs group AND the highest overall score in the whole competition.
