Well done to our Notts girls who passed club grade 5 and 6 at the weekend. Isabelle McMillan, Niamh Lehane, Amelia Coventry and Lori Prentice competed at club grade 5 while Lexi Siddons, Bella Saunders-Lucas, Nina MacEachran, Amelia Short and Lottie Darby passed club grade 6. All girls performed well to score distinctions, commended and pass marks.

Sunday 21^st February saw the under 8’s floor and vault competition held at Erewash Valley Gymnastics Club. We had 3 gymnasts competing in their first competition; Lily Hawthorne 7yrs, Hattie Jackson 6yrs and Ella Dean 6yrs.

The girls performed their vaults brilliantly and then moved to floor. It was their first time competing a set floor routine and all 3 girls performed without hesitation and with big smiles.

Congratulations to all 3 girls for their placing: Lily Hawthorne 8^th overall. Ella Dean bronze overall. Hattie Jackson Silver overall.

We are very proud of all of the girls and a big well done to the coaching staff involved.

CLUB OF THE YEAR 2016!

Notts were nominated and won Club of the Year, Ellie Downie was nominated and won Junior Sportsperson of the Year for the 3rd year in a row and Coach Jemma Wilson was nominated and voted runner up in the Performance Coach of the Year category.

The team of coaches, staff, gymnasts, parents & volunteers that work day in day out to keep all our gymnasts enjoying the sport they love deserve a big thank you.
