FULL TIME HEAD OF DISCIPLINE
(GENERAL GYMNASTICS)
Salary £18,000 - £22,000
Key Tasks.
1. Increase participation across all key groups under the general gymnastics remit.
2. Manage all the general gymnastic classes and coaches (general competitive, recreational, pre-
school, adult, cheerleading).
3. Increase revenue from all General gymnastics classes and all other classes under the general
gymnastics remit.
4. Administrate the waiting lists, filling classes and utilising space within the facility by increasing
classes where appropriate. Using all coaches to full potential to increase revenue
5. Plan programmes to reach target numbers and increased participation on time and to budget
6. Deliver board directives.
7. Attend regular meetings with line managers to enable them to deliver progress reports to the
board
8. Deliver coaching and development plan for all general gymnastic discipline coaches. Schedule and
hold all development discussion and delivering excellence across all areas of key responsibilities.
This successful candidate will possess the following Key Skills:
1. Must be enthusiastic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
2. Current BG membership, CRB cleared and have attended safeguarding and protecting children
course
3. BG qualified at level 3 or above in either General, Men’s or Women’s gymnastics
4. If level 3 is in MA or WA to take the other discipline level 2 or general level 3 within the first 12
months.
5. Already hold pre-school qualification level 2 or obtain this within the first 12 months
6. Have at least 3 years experience in a gym club, school or local authority setting.
7. Have 4 GCES or equivalent at C or above including English and Maths
8. Computer literate.
9. Have a flexible approach to working patterns, must be able to work evenings and weekends
including split shifts if necessary.
You will need to be able to drive with your own car, and be within easy commutable distance to Rushcliffe
Leisure Centre or be willing to relocate.
