Welcome to New GFA Assistant Head

Welcome GFA Assistant Head - Aidan Poole

Pic Aidan Notts Gymnastics Academy is delighted to officially announce the arrival of Aidan Poole as our second Assistant Head of GFA.  We have put a lot of focus into our GFA discipline over recent years and with the incredible growth in size and gymnastic opportunities we now provide, we are matching this with ensuring great strength and depth of our GFA management and coaching team.

Aidan will join us on 1st July, with a wealth of gymnastics and personal training experience, having spent time in various clubs and in the fitness sector.  Aidan has spent many years coaching gymnastics across various disciplines including GFA, Mens Artistic, Pre-school and Freestyle. He is a qualified judge and brings experience of administration associated with club management as well as leading a team.

Aidan is delighted with his appointment and we are excited to share with you his vision:

“Whether coaching MAG gymnasts to their first national finals, to helping a pre-school child perform their first forward roll, it has always been my passion to ‘teach the child, not the sport’ putting the development of the child first and using gymnastics to facilitate the development of characteristics such as resilience, hard work, confidence, motivation and determination”.
