On Sunday 26th March, NGA had one representative in the British Disability Masters competition at the Echo Arena, competing alongside the women senior apparatus finals and men’s Masters finals. Due to strong performances in previous competitions, Oliver Kettleborough qualified for 4 pieces of apparatus. Starting on rings, Oliver put in a great showing to win the silver medal. On vault, Oliver was competing his tucked Tsukahara for the first time and produced a fantastic vault, unfortunately, just having a bit too much rotation and led to a fall.  However, his confidence was not affected and performed a well executed second vault to clinch the silver medal. Moving onto High Bar, his least favourite piece, Oliver competed superbly to win the bronze medal. Finally, competing on the Floor, he produced a great routine with some exciting tumbling to pick up his third silver medal of the day. He came away with four medals which is a fantastic achievement, made even more special by the fact he is still a junior at 14 and was at least three years younger than any of the other competitors! Well done Oliver on your excellent debut performance in the Disability Masters Finals!
